The Role: Trade Transition
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to transition a Trade qualified individual into an office-based role. Working closely with the Project Team and Trade function ensures quality standards for tasks conducted in our shipyard.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Project Team and Trade function to understand the quality standard for tasks.
- Develop objective evidence to meet customer requirements, ensuring vessel integrity.
- Identify non-compliance areas and record them in our Quality Management System.
- Liaise with the Quality Assurance function to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Trade qualification in a relevant field (Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, Painter).
- Strong written English skills.
- MS Office experience.
- Maintenance operations - marine / ship repair related.
