Job Title: Career Transition Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Career Transition Specialist to join our team. As a Career Transition Specialist, you will work closely with clients to explore their career goals and aspirations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assessing clients' skills and experience to identify areas of strength and development
  • Developing tailored support plans to achieve clients' career goals
  • Providing guidance on job search strategies and interview preparation
  • Brokering work experience opportunities to build clients' skills and confidence
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and creating career opportunities that match clients' needs and aspirations
  • Championing inclusive employment practices and workforce diversity
  • Engaging with employers to address skill shortages and promote inclusive recruitment
  • Facilitating employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (desirable)
  • Proven ability to meet performance benchmarks and manage workload effectively
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
