Trade-Based Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary objective of the Project Quality Assurance (QA) Officer is to ensure the quality and integrity of tasks conducted by trade functions in our shipyard.
This opportunity suits individuals with a trade background looking to transition into an office-based role, applying their knowledge and skills in a new context.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with project teams and trade functions to understand and meet quality standards.
- Developing objective quality evidence to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Identifying non-compliance areas and recording them in our Quality Management System.
- Liaising with the Quality Assurance function to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will need:
- A trade qualification in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Painter.
