The Patient Safety Improvement Manager plays a critical role in leading the development and implementation of patient safety and clinical improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and clinical quality across the organisation.
- Foster a collaborative environment among clinicians and administrative staff to drive patient safety initiatives.
- Lead and support the monitoring of patient safety and clinical improvement activities, ensuring compliance with best practices and organisational policies.
- Engage and support clinicians and administrative staff in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and risk minimisation.
- Tertiary qualification in a health discipline or extensive recent clinical experience in complex healthcare settings.
- Understanding of clinical governance concepts, including patient safety, clinical risk management, quality improvement, and patient experience management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Presentation and training skills to educate clinical and clinical support staff on patient safety issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to produce comprehensive reports.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate, consult, and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess excellent leadership skills and be able to drive change and innovation within the organisation.
They must have a passion for delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
