
Patient Safety Strategic Leader

The Patient Safety Improvement Unit Manager plays a crucial role in spearheading the development and implementation of patient safety and clinical improvement initiatives within the organization.
This position is responsible for fostering a culture of safety and quality, with strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities being essential for success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of patient safety principles.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing patient safety and clinical improvement strategies
- Collaborating with clinicians and administrative staff on patient safety and clinical improvement projects
- Fostering a patient safety ethos within the organization to achieve a culture that prioritizes patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement
- Providing leadership to enhance a quality improvement culture across the organization and minimize risks to patients
- Tertiary qualification in a health discipline or extensive recent clinical experience in complex healthcare settings relevant to clinical governance
- Demonstrated understanding and application of patient safety principles, including quality improvement and complaints/Patient Experience management
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as superior written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
