Copper Mine Operations Job Description

The Copper Mine Project is a large-scale operation that involves the extraction of copper-bearing ore from multiple open-cut pits. The mine site will include development of tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, power generation, and an accommodation village.

The project will be supported by Harmony Australasia corporate office, located in Brisbane, which provides support to operations and projects located in Papua New Guinea and North-West Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with the project team to ensure timely and within budget completion of project milestones.
  • To provide guidance and oversight to junior staff members as required.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as per company requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in mining operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:
