Production Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Production Officer. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safety Management
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Identify and report potential hazards, near misses, incidents, and unsafe practices.
    • Maintain a safe working environment.
    • Support data management processes related to health and safety.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Perform regular quality inspections and product checks.
    • Manage sample collection, documentation, and laboratory submissions.
    • Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
    • Support quality certifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Administration and Data Entry
    • Manage customer and internal communications, orders, and credit adjustments.
    • Record production data, downtime, and trends for analysis and improvement.
    • Maintain administrative records and review key performance indicators.
    • Provide backup support to the site scheduler and assist with document creation.
  • Team Collaboration and Development
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
    • Assist in performance reviews, development planning, and training activities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or production-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong data entry skills.
  • Sound knowledge of quality assurance standards and relevant industry practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with feed manufacturing processes and QA requirements.
Desirable Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of feed manufacturing processes.
  • Experience creating standard operating procedures and managing document control systems.
  • Familiarity with FMCG industry QA and administrative functions.
