About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Leader to join our team at Allied Health Australia. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in guiding and developing a team of Provisional Psychologists and Rehabilitation Counsellors/Consultants to achieve positive return to work outcomes across their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Rehabilitation Consultants to achieve business objectives and deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one catch-ups to discuss day-to-day topics, short-term and long-term goals, and provide feedback and guidance.
  • Review productivity and motivate team members to reach targets and achieve business objectives.
  • Effectively manage any escalations and ensure senior management messages are communicated to the team.
Requirements
  • Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor with full registration with AHPRA or ASORC.
  • Provisional Registration with AHPRA may be considered if the end of your internship is near.
  • Solid experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant, with either experience in a Team Leader type role or currently a Rehabilitation Consultant with a strong desire to step up to a Team Leader.
  • Car and valid Driver's license.
  • Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
