About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Team Leader to join our team at CHILDRENS LIGHTHOUSE OF GREEN LEVEL, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction services contractor. As a key member of our Engineering group, you will be responsible for providing quality, safe, and commercially effective engineering designs for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the design of renewable infrastructure projects, including the engineering of site investigations, public road infrastructure, bulk earthworks, wind turbine foundations, HV substations, and battery energy storage systems.
  • Understand and actively promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to other members of the Engineering team and project teams.
  • Ensure all designs/documentation meet the relevant standards.
  • Coordinate with design consultants and service subcontractors as necessary.
  • Provide engineering support to project civil works, including engineering investigations, site inspections, problem-solving, and making recommendations.
Requirements
  • Australian recognized Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia (or be eligible to obtain on commencement).
  • State-based Professional Engineer registration (or be eligible to obtain on commencement).
  • Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale civil bulk earthworks projects.
  • Working knowledge of 12D and AutoCAD design software.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail in the delivery of effective and high-quality designs.
  • Strong ability to lead and mentor engineers to develop capabilities.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
