About Commercialisation and Innovation

We're looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Commercialisation Associate in Physical Sciences.

This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and research excellence, identifying and developing commercialisation opportunities that drive global impact.

Your primary focus will be on managing intellectual property, market opportunities, technology development, and marketing of commercial opportunities in the Physical Sciences sector.

You'll work closely with customers to shape strategic partnerships, advancing commercial awareness and skills across the university.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Identifying, assessing, and managing potential intellectual property and market opportunities
  • Developing and executing commercialisation strategies to drive business growth
  • Fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders to leverage research expertise and capabilities
  • Contributing to the development of new products, services, and technologies

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • A postgraduate degree or relevant experience in commercialisation activities related to Physical Sciences
  • Strong technical expertise in Physical Sciences, with a solid understanding of commercialisation and intellectual property principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • A self-motivated and collaborative approach, with a willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives
