About the Role

We are seeking a senior registered nurse to provide quality patient care through chronic disease management, immunisations, ECGs and assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients through effective chronic disease management, immunisation services, electrocardiogram (ECG) readings and assistance with minor surgical procedures.
  • Coordinate treatment room activities, manage medical equipment and stock control.
  • Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Identify patient educational needs and contribute to their development.
Requirements:
  • A current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA is required.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience in general practice.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary.
  • A caring and collaborative approach to patient care is crucial.

This role will focus on managing chronic conditions, working closely with management to develop new nurse-led clinic ideas and policies.

This permanent part-time position is approximately 2-3 days per week, offering opportunities to cover personal and annual leave.
