Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, or physiotherapy, with a focus on rehabilitation and return-to-work strategies. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, designing and implementing intervention programs, and identifying barriers to overcome. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, exercise physiology, or physiotherapy
  • Registration with AHPRA or ESSA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives
