Reliability Excellence Manager

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring adherence to legislative requirements, asset design and maintenance standards, and quality of repairs across the fleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining procedures, keeping up to date with legislative requirements, and ensuring the quality of repairs through QA practices. Additionally, they will assist in reviewing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards supporting business compliance requirements and operational needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining awareness of regulatory and legal developments governing compliance standards and procedures.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and insight on new/emerging compliance issues to management.
  • Leading the implementation of Lean, 5S, and RCM principles to enhance fleet reliability.
  • Identifying and communicating the need for compliance education programs and overseeing their development and implementation.
  • Developing and managing projects, initiatives, and activities supporting continuous improvement in safety systems.
  • Assisting in coordinating responses to regulatory authorities for auditing purposes.
  • Reviewing and auditing safety checks and maintenance activities for quality assurance.

The role also involves monitoring reliability indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to enhance fleet reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Business/Safety and Wellbeing or related discipline preferred, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar compliance role.
  • Workplace Training & Assessment and/or Auditing Qualifications desirable.
  • Engineering or Technical Trade Qualifications desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numerical analytical skills.
