Ongoing Vehicle Fleet Operations Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee and manage our fleet of rental vehicles.

This is a full-time role requiring hands-on experience and a proactive approach to fleet coordination, maintenance, and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies for efficient vehicle fleet operations aligned with our goals.
  • Oversee the acquisition, leasing, registration, and disposal of vehicles.
  • Coordinate regular maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy and in optimal condition.
  • Maintain records for fleet compliance, registration, insurance, and fuel consumption.
  • Schedule and dispatch vehicles in response to customer bookings and operational needs.
  • Manage relationships with service providers and suppliers.
  • Monitor fleet performance and expenses; analyse usage data to recommend cost-effective measures.
  • Supervise vehicle service staff and ensure adherence to safety and operational policies.
  • Liaise with customers and staff to resolve vehicle-related issues promptly and professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing or coordinating a vehicle fleet.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with asset management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
