System Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Infrastructure Specialist to manage and maintain all aspects of our data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and related hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance for optimal operation through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute data center expansion, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Develop documentation, policies, and procedures related to data center operations and IT infrastructure.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with system configuration and setup as needed.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with focus on data center operations in large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V), and operating systems (e.g. Windows Server, Linux).
  • Expertise in network infrastructure design, configuration, and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with data center technologies such as SAN/NAS storage, blade servers, data replication.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively independently and as part of team.
