Job Title: IT System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to join our team. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT SaaS solutions to ensure security and policy compliance.

  • Provide technical support to staff and escalate issues to external vendors when necessary.
  • Administer and manage JAMF Pro/Protect/Connect systems, including software distribution, policy configuration, and device deployment.
  • Respond to system incidents and security breaches to minimize downtime and protect assets.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to support strategic initiatives, infrastructure projects, and policy development.
  • Configure and implement infrastructure solutions within project teams.
  • Design and deliver IT training sessions and develop reference materials via the LMS platform.
Requirements
  • Experience in IT system administration, including unpaid/grassroots/lived experience.
  • Strong technical competence with Apple macOS systems and JAMF Pro/Connect/Protect tools.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, etc.
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols, incident response, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
  • Analytical capabilities to diagnose, resolve, and automate IT solutions.
