Are you a skilled telecommunications professional looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Telecoms Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

About the Position:

This is a key role that requires a strong background in telecoms infrastructure design, integration, and implementation. As a Telecoms Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for leading projects involving IP/MPLS transport networks, radio sites, voice and data communication systems, fibre optic and copper-based transmission systems, and associated ancillary subsystems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-level and low-level design documentation, including architecture diagrams, network design reports, and integration procedures. This role also involves configuring, integrating, and testing network equipment across multi-vendor platforms, primarily Cisco and Juniper routing and switching infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive design documentation to ensure seamless integration of telecoms infrastructure systems.
  • Configure, integrate, and test network equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Perform site and factory acceptance testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead fault isolation, network diagnostics, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with junior engineers to mentor and support their skills development and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in telecoms infrastructure design, integration, and implementation.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of IP/MPLS transport networks, radio sites, voice and data communication systems, and associated ancillary subsystems.
  • Proficiency in Cisco and Juniper routing and switching infrastructure.
