Job Profile

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the smooth functioning of facilities management. Key responsibilities include leading a team, managing staff, ensuring effective communication between departments, developing rosters, and overseeing minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a high-performance culture aligned with company objectives
  • Manage and motivate Facilities staff to deliver quality service
  • Ensure open communication with other departments
  • Develop staffing structures and rosters
  • Promote a safety-oriented work environment by providing training and supervision
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
  • Oversee minor maintenance tasks
  • Formulate waste management plans and grounds management plans
  • Maintain equipment and tools
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • LF Forklift Licence
  • Manual Drivers License, Class C
  • At least 3 years' experience in Facilities Management
  • Leadership and motivation skills
  • Knowledge of workplace safety systems
  • Ability to coordinate purchasing and maintenance requirements
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Sound knowledge of horticultural practices
  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite
