Job Title: Project Coordinator


Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project coordinator to lead the delivery of a complex water project.

This is a rare opportunity to drive environmental outcomes that align with long-term management, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will bring strong project coordination expertise, technical engineering discipline knowledge (civil / mechanical), and environmental awareness to ensure this critical initiative is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with business and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end project management, planning, coordination, and delivery of the groundwater remediation project.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resources to meet key milestones.
  • Oversee final design and engineering, and development of scope of work packages, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with environmental remediation strategies.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, discipline leads, environmental specialists, and external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contractor performance on-site and ensure all work is executed safely, and to specification.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and controls to senior management.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with relevant experience.
  • Proven project delivery experience, ideally on infrastructure, civil, mechanical, or environmental remediation projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of project coordination frameworks, risk management, and contract execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance or remediation in a mining, industrial, or utility setting is advantageous.
