A Support Worker plays a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. This position involves providing personalized care and support to clients in various settings, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role entails developing and implementing tailored care plans that cater to the unique needs of each client. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized support to people with disabilities in residential and community-based environments.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote the physical and emotional well-being of clients.
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Facilitating social interactions and community engagement to ensure clients feel connected and valued.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An Australian Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
- A current Police Clearance (obtained within 3 years).
- First Aid and CPR Certificates (current and up-to-date).
- The Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' from the NDIS Commission.
