Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on trains and depot infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, component replacements, and overhauls to prevent downtime and ensure smooth train operations.
  • Adapt to various tasks based on training and competency, enabling operational flexibility and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues in mechanical, pneumatic, and other systems as per core discipline and instructions.
  • Carry out upgrades and modifications to train systems and components to improve performance and reliability.
  • Follow all safety protocols, work instructions, and supervisor directives, and assist in safety documentation and assessments.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and participate in multi-skilled teams for electro-mechanical tasks on Metro cars.
Requirements
  • Near completion or current NSW Electrician license
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in technical functions
  • Railway industry experience is preferred
  • Troubleshooting experience desired
