
Electrical Train Maintenance Expert

About the Role:
The Train Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of electric train fleets.
This is a challenging position that requires technical expertise, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:- Investigate, diagnose and repair defects to electrical, mechanical, structural and technological systems, equipment and components on all electric train fleet types.
- Provide field repairs, including inspections and pre-departure checks, and complete relevant reporting and documentation for work conducted.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- A minimum of three years' experience in electric train maintenance, and a Certificate III qualification in either a Mechanical or Electrical trade.
- A solid technical background, proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify faults and implement effective solutions across both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, to support continuous operations.
