Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our CH47 Maintenance Training Team as a Maintenance Training Specialist.

This full-time position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the delivery of technical trade training and course management.

  • Deliver contracted Technical Trade Training in a theory and practical environment, adhering to Learning Management Packages (LMP's) and schedules.
  • Work as a CH47 Course Manager, following Course Management procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of training package materials through continuous improvement activities.
  • Review and amend assessment instruments.
  • Support the Lead Instructor in the CH47 Maintenance Training Facility.
  • Collaborate with CISS Program and Capability Managers on CH47 Training Program Execution.
  • Support the advancement of the Customer's DASR 147 Training Continuum.
Essential Skills and QualificationsKey Requirements
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft Mechanical Type Qualification (B1.3 MAML), or equivalent, along with 5 years' experience as a Rotary Wing B1.3 Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson, Aviation Supervisor, and/or Aviation Maintenance Manager.
  • Certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical).
Desirable Qualities
  • CH47 Aircraft experience.
  • Experience delivering training in the Defence environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Hold a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/22) or equivalent qualification, or willingness to achieve this qualification.
  • Understanding of DASA 147 and 66 Regulations.
  • Highly competent Aeroskills Instructor/Mentor/Coach and Courseware Development skills.

Australian citizenship is required due to defence security requirements.
