Job Title: Digital Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Specialist to lead and support our enterprise transformation efforts.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving process improvement, implementing fit-for-purpose digital solutions, and co-developing strategic roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Key responsibilities include leading the development and delivery of an enterprise digital transformation strategy, conducting detailed assessments of current-state business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing optimised future-state processes.
  • The successful candidate will engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to co-design fit-for-purpose digital solutions and change strategies, and support the centralisation and standardisation of key functions across the enterprise.
  • This role also involves evaluating, recommending, and supporting the implementation of digital platforms, tools, and systems across business units, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and change management to drive adoption and sustained use of new processes and technologies.
  • Additionally, the Digital Transformation Specialist will track and report on transformation KPIs, benefits realisation, and implementation risks, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and digital fluency across the organisation.

Required qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5–8 years' experience in digital transformation, enterprise strategy, or business process improvement, with a proven track record of leading or supporting complex transformation initiatives in large-scale or government-aligned environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, particularly working with subject matter experts and senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise digital tools (e.g., Power Platform, SharePoint, ERP/CRM systems).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a delivery mindset.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience in the Australian Defence environment.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture, ITIL, or systems integration principles.
  • Certifications in Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) are highly regarded.
