We are seeking Casual Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with highly complex needs. This role offers the opportunity to work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirements. You will be rewarded for your skills and commitment to providing consistent high-quality care.

About the Role

This position involves working in a family-friendly, supportive environment driven by strong values. As a support worker, you will have the chance to make a real impact on the lives of individuals with complex needs. We are seeking candidates who possess industry experience, manual handling skills, and a passion for supporting individuals to realise their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants with highly complex needs in a Supported Disability Accommodation setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote independence and lifestyle choices.
  • Ensure participants receive high-quality care and support at all times.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a DSW in the NDIS sector.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience managing participants with complex care and high physical needs.
  • Manual handling skills and ability to complete personal care tasks.
  • A reliable vehicle and car insurance.
  • Female staff only.
