Job Description:

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive the best possible dining experience.

The role involves providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
