We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of marketing initiatives.

This role will coordinate high-profile trade show participation, strategic sponsorships, and targeted events that drive engagement and awareness.

The successful candidate will contribute to the promotion of South Australia's defence and space capabilities in alignment with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within corporate sponsorship frameworks, managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities under tight deadlines, and communicating clearly and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate high-profile trade show participation, strategic sponsorships, and targeted events\
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with Defence SA's strategic objectives\
  • Manage event and marketing budgets, work with suppliers, and navigate procurement or contract processes\
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including industry, government, and community groups\
  • Contribute to team goals and culture, while also working independently when required\

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in marketing or appropriate workplace experience\
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate events\
