Job Description

We're on the hunt for a driven leader to take charge of our bustling entertainment venue. As an Assistant Venue Manager, you'll be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests while motivating your team to deliver exceptional service.

Your mission will be to lead by example, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that makes coming to work exciting. You'll be the driving force behind revenue growth, transforming our venue into the ultimate fun destination, and supporting your team every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead with energy and motivate your team to create unforgettable experiences
  • Boost revenue by running amazing shifts, driving up and cross-selling to enhance the guest experience
  • Create WOW spaces that transform our venue into the ultimate fun destination
  • Support your team by inspiring and coaching customer service, bartender, and function host professionals
  • Handle operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house portfolios like rosters, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 1 year people management experience
  • A valid RSA and Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • An obsession with providing the best guest experiences
  • Experience in driving revenues on shift
  • Proactive attitude with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities
  • Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
