Salary Package

We are offering a competitive salary package for this role, estimated to be in the range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Accounting Professional, based in Melbourne. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing annual and monthly accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Conducting valuations, data analysis, and forecasting to inform business decisions;
  • Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
  • Collaborating with partners and managers on forecasting and valuations, providing expert advice and guidance;
  • Preparing management reports and forecasts to support business growth and development;
  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in an accounting firm, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification;
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in cloud accounting software, particularly Xero;
  • An analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, as part of a dynamic team.
