About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Plena Healthcare, a national allied health provider to the Aged Care, Community and Disability industry.

As an Occupational Therapist in Residential Aged Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized treatments to our clients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clinical recommendations to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to promote functional independence and quality of life for our clients.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines.
