About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Optimum Allied Health in Coffs Harbour. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Community Aged Care Services
  • Deliver in-home services through various community aged care programs, including:
    • Home modifications to ensure safe and accessible living environments
    • Equipment and adaptive aid prescription to enhance daily functioning
    • Pressure injury risk assessment and reporting to prevent complications
    • Functional assessments and reports to inform care planning
  • NDIS Services
    • Deliver NDIS services to individuals with neurological disorders, physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and spinal cord injuries
    • Conduct functional assessments and reports to inform therapy plans
    • Assess and recommend assistive technology to enhance daily functioning
    • Provide ongoing therapy for capacity building in daily activities
    • Conduct cognitive assessments to inform care planning

    Requirements
    • Hold an Occupational Therapy degree
