Job Title: Business Development Representative
This role requires a driven and results-focused individual to work with a regional sales and marketing team. Your primary objective will be to identify customer projects that align with our product lines and promote Canonical's offerings across various industries and geographies.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in sales development or outbound sales, with a proven track record of consistently driving qualified pipeline growth. Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into senior executive levels is also essential. In addition, exceptional academic credentials and a passion for business and technology are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads for senior sellers
- Research information about prospective customers and market trends to drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results and support senior stakeholders
- Travel to events and conferences worldwide to present on booths and drive face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in SDR or outbound sales with a track record of exceeding annual quotas
- Experience in enterprise software or technology sales with a focus on identifying new customer opportunities
- Exceptional academic track record and passion for business and technology
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
