Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Supervisor to join our team at Course. As a Business Support Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic, business, and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and Develop the Business Support Team: Lead and develop a high-performing Business Support Team to ensure work is completed effectively in support of the organization's objectives.
  2. Manage Escalated Enquiries and Requests: Manage escalated enquiries and requests, providing support and advice to customer support staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  3. Provide Administration Management Support: Provide administration management support, managing priority requests as required in accordance with agreed timeframes.
  4. Work Collaboratively with Stakeholders: Work collaboratively and promote effective working relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  5. Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise with and engage stakeholders regarding Business Support Team performance information and statistics to facilitate the exchange of information, support decision making processes, and assist in the effective monitoring of service performance.
  6. Review and Create Knowledge Base Articles: Review, create, and/or modify knowledge base articles where necessary to equip staff to provide a responsive customer service.
  7. Maintain Operational Knowledge: Actively maintain high-level operational knowledge of a range of corporate technology and practices relevant to a procurement and contract management environment.
  8. Prepare Reports and Briefing Notes: Prepare reports, briefing notes as and where required on behalf of the business unit.
  9. Improve Work Practices: Continuously seek to improve work practices, internal processes, and procedures.
  10. Respond to Change: Respond proactively and flexibly to change with a continual focus on stakeholders' needs.
  11. Understand Procurement and Contract Management: Understand procurement, contract management, and governance principles.
  12. Display Rigor and Specialist Knowledge: Display rigor in analysis and apply specialist knowledge, together with proven effective written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

Requirements:

  • Highly Skilled Business Support Professional: Proven experience and skills in business support, administration, and team leadership.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Contract Management: Understanding of procurement, contract management, and governance principles.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responding proactively and flexibly to change.
