Support Worker for Individuals with Disabilities

Disability Support is a vital role that requires compassion, empathy, and professionalism. We are seeking individuals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with daily living activities such as meal preparation and personal care
- Support participants in engaging with community and social activities
- Provide transport and ensure safe travel to community events and appointments
- Promote independence by assisting with life skills development
- Follow individualized support plans and track participant progress
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a disability support worker
- Experience working with individuals with Autism/ADHD, Mental Health, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Dementia & Advance Manual Handling Supports will be highly regarded
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, CPR & First Aid, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, Driving Licence and access to a reliable car are essential
- Cert III Individual Supports, Cert IV Disability and / or Mental Health Care Qualification, or equivalent are preferred
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $23.17 - $47.46 per hour
- Flexible scheduling with 04 - 20 hours per week
- On call schedule available

- Ability to communicate, problem solve and use life experience along with integrity, honesty & reliability
