About the Role:

  • Manage chronic disease care, preventative health, and acute presentations
  • No emergency department duties, weekend shifts, or on-call requirements

About the Location:

Galiwin'ku is a remote community on Elcho Island, off the coast of north-east Arnhem Land. The community boasts strong cultural heritage and stunning beaches.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRMA
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Experience in rural/remote healthcare, ideally Indigenous health
  • Cultural awareness and commitment to respectful practice within Aboriginal communities
