Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality, culturally safe primary health care aligned with our Model of Care
  • Conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
  • Prescribing medications under established protocols
  • Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
  • Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
  • Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements

To qualify, you must hold current registration with AHPRA, along with demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting. Additionally, the following qualifications and attributes will be highly regarded:

  • Demonstrated experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (desired)
  • Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams
  • Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context
