Key Duties- Develop and provide budget cost plans and forecasts to support the program.
- Analyze vendors' budget requirements to support the program.
- Prepare reports and briefs for SDP and OCIO leadership as required.
- Provide effective financial control of the business case for optimal procurement decision making.
- Schedule and organize project meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project reports.
- Assist in Scheme Corporate Systems procurement activities under Director and Project Manager guidance.
- Support team members, project managers, and directors with ad-hoc project administration tasks.
- 3-4 years' experience working in a similar role.
- Experience working in a federal government procurement team.
- Strong budget skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in hands-on procurement activities.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in project coordination or business administration.
- Competency in SharePoint and Confluence.
- Ability to adapt to new ways of working and tools.
- Comfortable with accessible design and development principles.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check, and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
