Stores Manager

CareFlight is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Controller to join our Engineering team in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing stores activities and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with CareFlight and CASA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing parts from domestic and international suppliers, balancing cost containment with asset availability.
- Maintaining a high standard of Stores cleanliness and order.
- Ensuring Stores compliance with CareFlight and CASA procedures and regulations.
- Assisting in internal and external auditing processes.
- Receiving and dispatching goods internationally and domestically.
- Monitoring Shelf life / Tool life.
- Tracking the repair of various items within specified timeframes and reporting deviations.
- Coordinating movement of inventory in and out of stores.
- Coordinating the Calibration of Aircraft Tooling and equipment.
- Carrying out inventory stocktakes when required.
- Ability to identify parts from technical drawings.
- High level computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic team member with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Self-motivated and a willingness to take responsibility.
- Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Customer service focus.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Previous experience using Aerotrack.
- General knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of CASA regulations and other safety compliance regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of dangerous goods in the aviation industry.
- Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- Forklift Licence.
