Job Title: Store Manager

This is a dynamic leadership role that requires a strong retail professional to oversee all aspects of store management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in team leadership, inventory management, customer service, and sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of dedicated retail professionals to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track merchandise turnover, and manage stock ordering to ensure the store is well-stocked with popular products.
  • Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Profitability: Set sales targets and goals, implement effective sales strategies, and monitor financial performance to drive revenue growth and cost control.
  • Visual Merchandising: Oversee the presentation and layout of the store to optimize the shopping experience for customers.
  • Compliance: Ensure the store adheres to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and other key metrics to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge of the Yellowknife retail market is a plus.
