This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage building construction/upgrade projects from planning to completion.

Key responsibilities include preparing and implementing project management plans, coordinating risk management, procurement strategies, value engineering, and lifecycle considerations.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in client-side project management for building construction/upgrade projects, strong knowledge of contract administration, and qualifications in building construction or a related discipline.

They will also possess sound understanding of contract law, industry standards, and stakeholder responsibilities, as well as the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage competing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, including preparing project reports and stakeholder updates.

Experience working within government policies, WHS standards, delegations, and financial procedures is also desirable.

This role is ideal for experienced project managers looking for their next government contract role or those transitioning out of the private space into one of QLD's largest state departments.
