Job Title: Healthcare Outcomes Specialist

Job Summary:

The role of the Healthcare Outcomes Specialist is to ensure that healthcare facilities maintain a high level of quality care that goes beyond compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance on Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) matters.
  • Ensures that healthcare facilities have processes in place to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Collaborates with Directors of Nursing, Clinical Managers and Staff to ensure they meet their quality assurance and clinical governance responsibilities.
  • Mentors staff members to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills, promoting continuous improvement and best practice.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Residential Aged Care as a Care Manager or above.
  • In-depth knowledge of accreditation standards, aged care legislation and quality improvement principles.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Current driver's license and police check.
