Job Description:

We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our Physiotherapy Department at the Women's and Children's Hospital in North Adelaide. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day service provision to support patient care activities for inpatients and outpatients.

  • You will assist with interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting, including women's health patients and paediatric patients with neurological, respiratory and orthopaedic conditions.
  • You will also be responsible for routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must hold or be working towards a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
  • You must have high levels of professionalism and effective communication skills.
  • You must be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • You must have effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • You must possess physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment.

The estimated salary for this role is between $58,709 and $63,154 per annum.
