About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our Physiotherapy Department team at North Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day service provision to support patient care activities for inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physiotherapists with interventions in the inpatient and outpatient setting, including women's health patients and paediatric patients with neurological, respiratory and orthopaedic conditions.
- Routine testing of hydrotherapy pool chemical levels and water quality.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- High levels of professionalism and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for manual handling of patients and equipment.
