Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher

The Literacy and Numeracy Support Teacher will provide high-quality teaching delivery and innovative course materials to domestic VET students, focusing on supporting student success in Learner Support Skill Sets and improving their employment and/or educational pathways.
The role involves ensuring BHI compliance requirements are met and liaising with students, relevant industry groups, and employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and courses
- Provide excellent teaching delivery to domestic VET students
- Liaise with students, industry groups, and employees
- Ensure BHI compliance requirements are met
- A recognised and accredited Adult Language and/or Numeracy and Literacy teaching qualification at AQF7 or above
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
- Desirable: eligible for/or current VIT Registration
- Experience in planning and researching for the preparation of programs and learning materials
- Current and sound knowledge of and experience in the Education Industry, specifically in language, literacy, and numeracy
