Renal Supportive Care Professional
We seek a skilled and experienced Renal Supportive Care professional to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide advanced psychosocial care to renal patients and families, contribute to the delivery of high-quality care, and lead in Renal Supportive Care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, advocacy & practical support to renal patients and families
- Lead advanced care & end-of-life planning for renal patients
- Deliver training to medical & allied health staff on Renal Supportive Care
- Support families through bereavement processes
- Collaborate across teams to ensure quality care
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
- Extensive specialist knowledge in Renal and/or Palliative Care Social work
- Experience in staff and/or student supervision
- Well-developed time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
