Job Summary

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute as a senior clinician within the Critical Care team, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals in high-pressure environments.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical expertise and significant experience in social work, with a proven track record of providing psychosocial support to patients in critical care settings.

The successful applicant will be expected to work from a trauma-informed perspective, building on counselling skills to deliver comprehensive patient care.

  • Provide targeted psychosocial support to patients in the Burns Unit environment
  • Develop and implement effective therapeutic strategies informed by a Trauma-Informed approach
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality patient care
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work that enables eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Possess a current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable)
