
Strategic Business Improvement Specialist

This position involves analyzing business needs and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Gather information from project stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Develop process maps to articulate business scenarios and risk control impacts.
- Create user stories and walkthrough these with business and technology teams.
- Contribute to the overall solution during definition and design phases.
- Break down Epics into stories and capture acceptance criteria.
- Estimate story effort using established methodologies with development and testing teams.
- Serve as a liaison between development teams, testers, and business stakeholders during delivery.
- Help define test plans covering both application and broader business process testing.
- Prepare stakeholder communications and deliver training to business users.
- Support the creation of business process documentation.
- Participate in new business case development.
About You
We are looking for a degree-qualified professional with at least 3+ years' experience in a business analysis role, working within an Agile Project Management framework, preferably in financial services.
You will have experience building and enhancing financial products from a technology and business readiness perspective.
Key attributes include being logical, methodical, and having a strong attention to detail, along with highly developed stakeholder engagement skills.
