About the Role

As a solo Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. This role requires independence, self-reliance, and strong communication skills.

  • You will be responsible for managing in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.
  • Customer satisfaction is key; you will have the opportunity to provide a personalized service, whilst travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.

The role offers a great work-life balance and competitive remuneration. Some of the duties you will perform are equipment checks, in-flight announcements, serving food and beverages, cleaning duties, as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin on your own.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Not exceed 173 cm in height
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or 3 years of work experience in Australia or New Zealand, or equivalent qualifications
  • Hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check
  • Have experience in customer service
  • Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device
  • Be flexible, with varied working hours including peak periods and holidays
  • Present yourself professionally at all times
  • Show a natural willingness to care for people
