Flight Attendant Opportunity in Townsville

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time solo flight attendants based in Townsville.

As a solo flight attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Independent and self-reliant, with strong decision-making skills
  • Customer-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and safety-conscious, with a strong focus on compliance with aviation regulations

The role offers a great work-life balance, competitive remuneration, and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work, and some nights spent away from home.

Duties Include:

  • Equipment/security checks
  • In-flight announcements
  • In-flight food & beverage service
  • Cleaning duties
  • Handling various situations that may occur in the cabin

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Be no taller than 173 cm
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Have completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or have worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or have worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or have completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5
  • Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check
  • Have experience in customer service
  • Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device
  • Be flexible, working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods
  • Have a high level of personal presentation
  • Have a natural willingness to please and care for people
