Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, recruiting and training team members, rostering, and assisting guests.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and motivate a large, multi-skilled team to achieve excellent service standards and sales targets.
  • Work closely with other managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including staff performance, sales data, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hospitality or retail leadership roles, ideally with a focus on food, bars, and gaming.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coach high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV, and Approved Manager licenses (or willingness to obtain).
